About Learn Woodworking Today
Rob Levy, founder of Learn Woodworking Today, LLC started his career working for his father’s cabinetry business at the age of 14. He worked with his dad throughout his teenage years as a builder. Having such a passion for designing and building, he decided to pursue it by majoring in furniture making and design in college. Rob holds two furniture making/designing degrees (AFA and BFA). He has studied under some of the most important, studio craft furniture artists in the country. He has displayed his work in galleries throughout the United States. Currently, Rob owns and operates Hudson River Woodworks, LLC which is a fine custom cabinetry workshop that services the tri-state area. He has been featured in several industry magazines which can be viewed on his company’s website at www.HudsonRiverWoodworks.com.
At Learn Woodworking Today, Rob teaches fine woodworking classes. Classes are held at Hudson River Woodworks, Rob’s 4,000 square foot workshop in Garnerville, New York which is located approximately 40 minutes north of New York City. There is an array of courses available ranging from weekend workshops to ten week sessions. Learn Woodworking Today also offers private lessons.
